MapStitcher
Stitches aerial and map tiles into one high-resolution image — for example Esri imagery with a semi-transparent hiking overlay from OpenTopoMap or Mapy.com — so a chosen area can be printed or used offline at a detail no single screenshot gives.
- Pick the area on an interactive map (centre + size, or drag a rectangle), choose the base and overlay layers and the tile zoom, and build. The result can be tens of thousands of pixels per side.
- Layers: OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, CyclOSM, Esri World Imagery / Topo, Mapy.com (needs a free API key from developer.mapy.com, stored in the user profile).
- Downloaded tiles are cached on disk, so repeated builds of the same area are instant.
- Ctrl+K command palette, System / Light / Dark theme switch (Ctrl+Shift+L; System follows Windows live), log tab, self-update from the TomLabs app store.

Changelog
Changelog
All notable changes to MapStitcher, newest first. Dates are release dates.
0.2.2 — 2026-09-24
Changed
- The self-update library comes from nuget.org (TomLabs.AutoUpdate 0.3.2) instead of a git submodule; updates work as before.
0.2.1 — 2026-09-24
Changed
- The theme switch now has a System option that follows Windows live; earlier Light/Dark choices were reset to System once.
Added
- The header button shows the current mode (half circle = System, sun, moon) and Ctrl+Shift+L cycles System → Light → Dark; the command palette can set each mode directly.
0.2.0 — 2026-09-17
Added
- Command palette (Ctrl+K): actions, layers and tabs with fuzzy search.
- Light / dark mode toggle in the header; the choice is remembered, the OS preference applies until you pick one.
- Self-update from the TomLabs app store with an update banner in the status bar and channel switching (stable / nightly).
- Log tab: recent events live, filter by level and text, list of daily log files on disk.
- About tab with version, update check, data paths and these release notes.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Enter build, Ctrl+S save, Esc cancel, Ctrl+1…4 tabs, Ctrl+Shift+L theme.
Changed
- New "ops console" look shared with the other TomLabs desktop apps: custom title bar, dense sidebar, hairline borders, one orange accent.
- Version shown in the header comes from the build.
0.1.0 — 2026-09-14
Added
- Interactive map for picking the area (pan, zoom, drag a rectangle) with OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, CyclOSM, Esri and Mapy.com layers.
- Stitching of a base layer with an optional semi-transparent overlay at any tile zoom.
- Result viewer: downscaled preview with full-resolution crops when zoomed in, percentages relative to the full image.
- Tile cache on disk so a repeated build over the same area does not touch the network.
- Command-line variant for batch use.
